PingWho support
How can we help?
Quick answers for saving, finding, exporting, and protecting your postcards.
PingWho does not require an account or upload your postcard library to our server.
Edit, delete, export, and share your postcards from inside the app.
How do I create a postcard?
Tap the plus button and write what you remember in your own words. Choose “Organize postcard” to turn the note into editable fields, review the details, then save.
Why does PingWho ask me to confirm a place?
Confirming an Apple Maps result prevents the app from guessing the wrong location. Only confirmed places appear on the Postcard Map.
How does search work?
Search runs locally across people, cities, tags, conversations, and follow-up details. Results show why they matched so you can verify the context before acting.
Can I import my contacts?
Not in version 1.0. PingWho starts with intentional postcards instead of copying your entire address book. You can still call, email, or navigate from the details you choose to save.
How do I back up my postcards?
Open Your Postcards in the app and use JSON export. Save the exported file somewhere you control. PingWho does not keep a server-side backup.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual postcards in the app. Deleting PingWho removes its local data from the device; exported files must be removed separately wherever you saved them.
